Senior Accountant/Controller

Without the strength of our accounting team, we wouldn’t be able to offer the Industry-leading Land Management SaaS software service we’re known for. We are seeking an experienced senior accountant/controller to oversee our accounting functions.  The ideal candidate will have industry proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a senior role and in a software development environment. As a strong communicator and a skilled financial analyst, you will make it your mission to streamline our budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting process. You will prepare thorough financial-status reports for senior management to help improve our operational efficiency and aid in our continued growth.  


  • Full cycle accounting duties including managing AP/AR, cash flow analysis, monthly P/L and income statements, bank reconciliations, and GL reconciliations.
  • Invoicing for the ENKON group of companies
  • Manage Payroll
  • Financial Modeling
  • Managing the Company Benefit Plan
  • Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing new processes
  • Manage software licenses
  • Managing external accounting firms and creating working papers
  • Managing subscription agreements and other ENKON contracts
  • Managing rental properties
  • Accounting for holding companies
  • Tax filings
  • Coordinating activities of external auditors

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or relevant field
  • 10+ years of experience in related field
  • Professional accounting certification, including CMA, CGA, or CA
  • Working knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP)
  • Strong understanding of economic and banking processes
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Love to have fun!
